Janet Murray, a lifetime musician, has twenty-seven years' successful teaching experience. A member of the American College of Musicians and the National Guild of Piano Teachers, she holds a Bachelor of Arts from Antioch University. Educated in music from age 6 through college, she performed regularly as a student, playing recitals in California, Washington, Texas, New Mexico, and Virginia. She has studied at Mt. St. Mary's College in Los Angeles, at the Sessione de Musica del Arts in Sienna, Italy, in the San Francisco Bay area with Daniel Glover and John Khouri, and has played at Daniel Glover's and Tom LaRatta's Master Classes. In 2009 she debuted at Carnegie Hall. Her students play for local events, at master classes, and the Van Clibuyrn Competitions.
Matt Scrabis started playing drums at age 9, joining his guitar-playing friends in middle school, improvising jams and forming bands - a crucial development of his musicianship. In high school his bands played live in the Bay Area, includng the Omni in Oakland, and the Stone in San Francisco.

He studied with Rich Fongheiser and with Jeff Campitelli, performing with the DVC Jazz Quartet, and winning awards, including Outstanding Musicianship Award at the Berkeley Jazz Festival. After earning his degree from UCLA, Matt co-founded and co-produced The Forms at The Troubadour, the Whiskey, the Roxy, Gig, and Dragonfly. He composed, performed, and produced a rap-rock loop CD with Stereo Buss Entertainment, LLC. He produced, engineered, and performed on Anthony C. Dalton's first album, Skeleton Crew. He has developed music programs at several non-profits, working with teenagers and young adults. Matt continues writing and recording his own music. He will be teaching percussion and guitar!

Marilyn Sherwin studied at Stanford, earning her Bachelor's in Music from UC Berkeley, including participation in a Pablo Casals Master Class. She performed chamber studies with the Griller Quartet, with the Oakland Symphony, and the San Francisco Opera Orchestra as soloist and principal cellist. She taught strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion in five schools and has taught instrumentals privately and in classes, including with Music on the Move in San Francisco. She currently leads the singing at Orinda Senior Village, also performing with Orinda Community Church bell choir.
